Miles Overview
The 2025 Jetta is Volkswagen's compact sedan, slotting below the Passat and competing with the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. The Jetta's steering is precise and its chassis feels composed, making it more engaging than typical for the class. The ride is firm but well controlled, a trade-off for the car's athletic handling. Inside, the Jetta offers a clean, upscale cabin with generous rear-seat space and a sizable trunk for a compact sedan. The SEL's leather upholstery, heated front seats, and larger touchscreen set it apart from the SE below it. Its 1.5L I4 makes 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic to the front wheels, and returns 33 mpg combined. The SEL also adds a digital cockpit display and ambient interior lighting, giving the cabin a more premium feel than lesser trims.
