Miles Overview
The Jetta is Volkswagen's compact sedan, a direct rival to the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. It's a comfortable daily driver with a smooth ride that soaks up bumps easily. The front seats are notably supportive and plush, but rear legroom gets tight for taller passengers. Standard tech includes a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Stepping up to the SEL adds the larger touchscreen, digital gauge cluster, and upgraded audio you don't get on the SE or Sport. Its 1.5L I4 makes 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, enough for easy highway merging, and the eight-speed automatic shifts smoothly; the EPA rates it at 33 mpg combined.
