Miles Overview
The 2020 Golf is Volkswagen's compact hatchback, the one that gives you European handling in a practical five-door body. It feels eager and composed through corners, with a well-calibrated transmission that makes the most of its modest power. The cabin is a nice place to spend time, with comfortable front seats, a sleek infotainment system, and useful cubby storage. It's a hatchback, so you get a versatile cargo area that swallows more than the trunk of a comparable sedan. Its 1.4L I4 makes 147 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, paired with a smooth eight-speed automatic that keeps the car responsive around town and relaxed on the highway.
