Miles Overview
The 2021 Golf is Volkswagen's compact hatchback, the one that competes with the Mazda3 and Honda Civic Hatchback. It's a genuinely fun car to drive, with sharp steering and a willing engine that makes it feel quicker than the numbers suggest. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade-off for how flat it stays through corners, but it's still comfortable for daily driving. Inside, the Golf has a clean, well-built cabin with supportive seats and a cargo area that's surprisingly roomy for a hatchback. Its 1.4L I4 makes 147 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, and with the standard six-speed manual it's engaging to shift yourself.
