Miles Overview
The 2013 Beetle is Volkswagen's retro-styled compact, offered as a hatchback or convertible with a choice of peppy engines. It feels nimble and eager in town, with a ride that's firm but composed on the highway. Inside, the cabin has a clean, modern look with easy-to-clean surfaces and decent headroom up front. Some owners mention the frameless windows can stick or act up, and a few report electrical gremlins like failing window switches. Its 2.5L I5 makes 170 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission, giving it enough pep for around-town driving without feeling quick.
