Miles Overview
The 2015 Beetle is Volkswagen's retro-styled compact, offered as a hatchback or convertible with a choice of gas or diesel power. It's a fun little car to drive, with a willing engine and a ride that's smooth enough for daily commuting. Inside, the cabin feels well put together with quality materials, and there's decent headroom up front, though rear space is tight. Some owners have had trouble with the windows and electronics, so it's worth checking those systems on a used example. The Classic is the base Beetle, sitting below the TDI and R-Line trims and giving you the essentials without the extra cost. Its 1.8L I4 makes 170 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive for a peppy daily driver that gets 28 mpg combined.
