2022 Volkswagen Jetta SE

The Jetta is Volkswagen's compact sedan, a direct rival to the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. It's a comfortable daily driver with a smooth ride that soaks up bumps easily. The front seats are notably supportive and plush, but rear legroom gets tight for taller passengers. Standard tech includes a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SE sits between the base S and Sport trims and the top SEL, adding leatherette seats, heated front seats, and the full IQ.DRIVE safety suite. Its 1.5L I4 makes 158 horsepower and pairs with a smooth eight-speed automatic, earning 33 mpg combined on regular fuel. The SE is the only trim where Travel Assist and adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go come standard, giving it semi-automated highway driving capability.
