Miles Overview
The 2013 Jetta is Volkswagen's compact sedan and wagon, a more affordable take on the German brand's character. It drives with a solid, planted feel that makes everyday commuting more engaging than you'd expect from a compact. Inside, the cabin feels upscale for the class, with quality materials and a clean, intuitive layout. Some owners report electrical gremlins and pricey repairs, so it's worth checking the car's history carefully. V-Tex leatherette seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel set the SE apart from the base S, while the SEL adds nicer audio and dual-zone climate. The 2.5L I5 makes 170 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic in this SE, giving it a smooth, eager feel around town that the base S's 2.0L can't match. This SE rides on 16-inch steel wheels with full covers, which keeps the ride compliant but doesn't look as sharp as the SEL's alloy rims.
