Miles Overview
The Jetta is Volkswagen's compact sedan, the one you cross-shop with the Civic and Corolla if you want a bit more European feel. It's responsive when you step on it, and the steering feels direct, so it's genuinely enjoyable on a twisty road. The cabin is roomy for four adults, and the trunk is surprisingly large, so it swallows luggage or even a small grill. Standard tech includes a touchscreen with Bluetooth and a backup camera, and many trims add Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SE skips the Sport's 20 extra horses and cloth seats from the S, but it adds a power driver's seat, heated front seats, and premium audio over the base car. The 1.4L I4 makes 150 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, and the five-speed automatic shifts smoothly; you'll average 32 mpg combined without trying.
