Miles Overview
The Jetta is Volkswagen's compact sedan, a roomy alternative to the Corolla and Civic with a more substantial German feel. It handles with a composed, planted character that makes daily driving feel more engaging than the class average. The cabin is straightforward and well-built, with a clean layout and plenty of rear legroom for the segment. Some owners note a minor rattle in the dash on cold mornings and a tire-pressure light that can trigger with temperature swings. The SE is the volume trim, adding convenience features like a touchscreen and Bluetooth that the base S lacks, while skipping the Sport's extra power. Its 1.4L I4 makes 150 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, and the six-speed automatic shifts smoothly, returning 32 mpg combined.
