Miles Overview
The New Beetle is Volkswagen's retro-styled compact, offered as a hatchback or a convertible. The cabin feels cheerful and well-built, with a large glovebox and a flower vase on the dash. Insurance and fuel costs are modest, but repairs at a VW specialist can add up. The convertible adds open-air fun to the New Beetle formula, but you give up the hatchback's cargo versatility and rear seat room.
