Miles Overview
The 2016 Golf SportWagen is Volkswagen's compact wagon, a practical alternative to the Golf hatchback with more cargo space. It drives with the same composed, planted feel as the Golf, making it enjoyable on winding roads and stable on the highway. Inside, the cabin is straightforward and well-built, with comfortable seats and easy-to-use controls. The wagon body adds a generous cargo area behind the rear seats, and folding them down opens up even more room for hauling. The Limited Edition sits between the base TSI S and the TSI SE, adding extra equipment like alloy wheels and a sunroof without the SE's optional navigation. Its 1.8L I4 makes 170 horsepower and pairs with the automatic transmission, enough for confident highway merging and capable free-revving character. This trim came with a sportier look thanks to its standard 17-inch alloy wheels, and the moonroof lets in light without cutting into headroom.
