Miles Overview
The Jetta is Volkswagen's compact sedan, competing with the Civic and Corolla but with a more grown-up feel. The cabin is comfortable and well-built, though rear legroom can be tight for taller passengers and cloth seats stain easily. Standard tech includes a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone integration, and higher trims add digital cockpit and advanced driver aids. The GLI S is the enthusiast's pick, trading the SEL's luxury touches for a turbocharged punch that the standard Jetta doesn't offer. Its turbocharged 2.0L TSI® 16-valve DOHC turbocharged 4-cylinder engine w/ direct fuel injection makes 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, routed through a seven-speed automatic to the front wheels, and it returns 28 mpg combined.
