Miles Overview
The Jetta is Volkswagen's compact sedan, the one that gives you German character without the premium badge. It's a comfortable highway cruiser, and the steering is light but accurate enough for daily driving. Inside, the cabin feels solidly built with quality materials, and the rear seat offers generous legroom. Some owners mention electrical gremlins like faulty sensors and failing headlights, so it's worth a thorough check. Stepping up to the SEL Premium adds the hybrid powertrain and a higher equipment level than the regular SEL, with the two GLI trims being the sportier alternative. Under the hood is the 1.4L I4 hybrid making 170 horsepower, paired with a seven-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, and you'll see 45 mpg combined in real-world driving.
