Miles Overview
The 2025 Jetta is Volkswagen's compact sedan, slotting below the Passat and competing with the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. The Jetta's steering is precise and its chassis feels composed, making it more engaging than typical for the class. The ride is firm but well controlled, a trade-off for the car's athletic handling. Inside, the Jetta offers a clean, upscale cabin with generous rear-seat space and a sizable trunk for a compact sedan. The S is the Jetta for shoppers who want the car's composed handling and upscale cabin for the lowest possible price, skipping the Sport's visual extras and the SE's larger infotainment screen. Its 1.5L I4 makes 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, routed through a smooth eight-speed automatic to the front wheels, and returns an EPA-rated 33 mpg combined.
