Miles Overview
The Jetta is Volkswagen's compact sedan, a roomy alternative to the Corolla and Civic with a more substantial German feel. It handles with a composed, planted character that makes daily driving feel more engaging than the class average. The cabin is straightforward and well-built, with a clean layout and plenty of rear legroom for the segment. Some owners note a minor rattle in the dash on cold mornings and a tire-pressure light that can trigger with temperature swings. A sport-tuned suspension and the stronger engine set the GLI SE apart from the standard Jetta trims below it. The 2.0L I4 makes 210 horsepower and pairs with a manual transmission, giving the GLI a genuinely quick feel off the line. The GLI SE comes with a limited-slip front differential, which helps put its power down through corners without spinning the inside wheel.
