Miles Overview
The Jetta GLI is Volkswagen's sporty take on its compact sedan, the one with the hot-hatch spirit but a trunk. The GLI corners flat and grips well, and the limited-slip diff helps put the power down cleanly out of turns. The cabin is roomy for the class, with supportive front seats and a big trunk that swallows luggage easily. Stepping up to the Autobahn adds adaptive dampers, a sunroof, and the larger infotainment screen you don't get on the base GLI. The 2.0L I4 makes 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, and the seven-speed automatic shifts quickly whether you're cruising or pushing it. The adaptive suspension lets you dial the ride from comfortable to firm, which makes the Autobahn more livable day to day than the base car.
