Miles Overview
The 2017 Golf is Volkswagen's compact hatchback, a car that blends European character with everyday practicality. It's genuinely fun to drive, with a responsive feel and a composed ride that makes it easy to live with. Inside, the Golf feels more upscale than its price suggests, and the hatchback body gives you a surprisingly roomy cargo area. Some owners mention the paint can show water spots and the interior picks up dust and sand easily, so darker colors need more upkeep. The TSI S is the base Golf, and it's the one to pick if you want the same 1.8L engine as the pricier trims without paying for extra luxury features. The 1.8L I4 makes 170 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission, giving you responsive acceleration around town and on the highway.
