Miles Overview
The Golf is Volkswagen's compact hatchback, the one that sets the standard for how a small car should feel. It's genuinely fun to drive, with a chassis that feels planted and eager through corners. Inside, the cabin is roomy for its size and the materials feel a cut above the class. Apple CarPlay comes standard on many trims, so your phone's apps and navigation show up right on the touchscreen. The SE adds the larger touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and keyless entry over the base TSI, giving you the tech you actually use daily. Its 1.8L I4 makes 170 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic that shifts smoothly; expect 29 mpg combined in mixed driving.
