Miles Overview
The Golf SportWagen is VW's compact wagon, blending the Golf hatchback's driving fun with a longer cargo area. It handles like a Golf, which means it's eager through corners and easy to place on the road. Inside, the cabin is straightforward and well-built, with physical knobs for the climate controls. The wagon body gives you a big, square cargo bay that swallows gear the hatchback can't. Stepping up to the SE adds the 4Motion all-wheel drive system, giving you confident traction in rain or snow that the base model's front-wheel drive can't match. The 1.8L I4 makes 168 horsepower and 199 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that sends power to all four wheels; it feels planted and sure-footed on loose or slick surfaces. The SE trim's cargo area is especially useful with the rear seats folded, opening up 66.5 cubic feet of cargo space for hauling bulky items like furniture or camping gear.
