Miles Overview
The Golf SportWagen is Volkswagen's compact wagon, a practical alternative to the Golf hatchback with more cargo space behind the rear seats. It drives with the same nimble feel as the Golf, making it easy to toss around corners and comfortable on long highway stretches. The cabin is straightforward and well-built, with a clean dashboard and plenty of room for four adults and their luggage. The wagon body gives you a big, square cargo area that swallows strollers and gear, and the rear seats fold nearly flat for bulky loads. Stepping up to the SE adds alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and VW's Car-Net connected services over the base S trim. The 1.8L I4 pairs with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, giving you confident traction in rain or snow and a smooth, responsive feel on the road. The SE's available lighting package adds adaptive headlights that swivel into corners, a feature you won't find on the base trim.
