2015 Toyota Tacoma

The 2015 Tacoma is Toyota's compact pickup, a truck that's been a top seller for years and still holds its value like few others. It's not quick, but it's easy to handle around town and feels sturdy, which is exactly what you want from a small truck. The cabin is comfortable and roomy for a truck, with plenty of space in both the front and back seats. You get a real truck bed for hauling gear, and the short bed is long enough for a mattress or a snowboard. Four-wheel drive and the 4.0L V6 set the TRD Pro apart from the rest of the Tacoma lineup, giving it serious off-road chops from the factory. The 4.0L V6 makes 236 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed automatic, which is plenty for crawling over rocks but doesn't feel urgent on the highway at 18 mpg combined. This trim rides on unique suspension tuned for the trail, so expect a firmer feel on pavement than a standard Tacoma.
