Miles Overview
The QX50 is Infiniti's compact luxury SUV, sized between the smaller QX30 and the three-row QX60. It's a comfortable cruiser that favors a smooth, quiet ride over sharp handling, and the steering is light and easy around town. Inside, the cabin uses nice materials and the seats are plush, but the dual-screen infotainment setup feels dated and takes some getting used to. Cargo space is generous for the class, and the rear seats slide and recline to balance passenger room with luggage space. The Essential adds the Premium Plus package's heated steering wheel, remote start, and motion-activated liftgate over the Luxe, plus a 16-speaker Bose audio system. Its variable-compression 2.0L I4 makes 268 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, paired with a automatic transmission and front-wheel drive for a smooth, quiet daily drive that returns 26 mpg combined.
