Miles Overview
The 2020 Sentra is Nissan's compact sedan, slotting below the Altima and facing the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, and Mazda3. The Sentra's new independent rear suspension gives it a composed, settled feel on the highway, though acceleration is modest. The ride is smooth and the seats are supportive, making long commutes easy on the back. The cabin offers generous trunk space and a flat-folding rear seat for hauling larger items. Available driver aids include automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert. The SR is the sporty one in the Sentra lineup, with sharper looks and a tauter suspension than the SV. Its 2.0L I4 makes 149 horsepower and pairs with a CVT that mimics stepped shifts, so it feels responsive around town even if it's not quick. The SR rides on 18-inch wheels and has a sport-tuned suspension, so you feel the road more than in the SV, but it corners flatter.
