2019 Nissan Sentra SV

The 2019 Sentra is Nissan's compact sedan, the one you'd cross-shop with a Corolla or Civic when you want something simple and affordable. Steering is smooth and responsive, with a light touch that makes city driving easy, though the base engine is a bit sluggish off the line. The ride is smooth and composed, especially at highway speeds, though some owners note a slight shake above 60 mph. Inside, you get a straightforward cabin with comfortable seats, a touchscreen on most trims, and a trunk that's generous for the class. The SV adds keyless entry, push-button start, and the 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto over the base S. Its 1.8L I4 makes 124 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque, paired with the Xtronic CVT, and returns 32 mpg combined.
