Miles Overview
The Mazda CX-30 slots between the CX-3 and CX-5 as a subcompact crossover with a premium feel. It competes with the Honda HR-V, Toyota Corolla Cross, and Kia Seltos, but stands apart with its upscale cabin. The CX-30 handles like a much smaller car, with quick steering and a composed, planted feel on winding roads. Inside, the cabin is trimmed with soft-touch materials and a clean layout that rivals more expensive luxury models. Cargo space is modest for the class, but the rear seats fold flat to swallow larger loads when needed. The Carbon Edition adds exclusive Polymetal Gray paint, black 18-inch wheels, and red leather seats to the standard CX-30 equipment. Its 2.5L I4 makes 186 horsepower and sends power to all four wheels through a six-speed automatic with a manual-shift mode. The Bose 12-speaker premium audio system is standard here, and the updated dampers for 2026 sharpen the ride without making it harsh.
