Miles Overview
The MKZ is Lincoln's mid-size sedan, the one that shares its bones with the Fusion but aims higher on luxury. It drives smooth and quiet, with a ride that soaks up rough pavement without much fuss. The cabin looks sharp, though some plastics feel a bit cheap for the price, and rear headroom is tight. Owners report few serious problems, but a few have dealt with door handle covers popping and a trunk that can leak water. Leather upholstery and a premium sound system distinguish the Reserve from the Select trim below it. The hybrid powertrain pairs its 2.0L I4 hybrid with a continuously variable automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, earning 40 mpg combined. This trim opens the door to the optional Technology Package, which adds adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist.
