Miles Overview
The MKZ is Lincoln's mid-size sedan, the one that shares its bones with the Fusion but aims higher on luxury. It drives smooth and quiet, with a ride that soaks up rough pavement without much fuss. The cabin looks sharp, though some plastics feel a bit cheap for the price, and rear headroom is tight. Owners report few serious problems, but a few have dealt with door handle covers popping and a trunk that can leak water. Stepping up to the Select adds leather seating, a power-adjustable steering wheel, and ambient interior lighting over the Premiere. Its 3.0L V6 makes 350 horsepower and pairs with all-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic, which moves the sedan with real authority but returns 20 mpg combined. The Select can be had with Lincoln's optional Drive Control system, which adjusts the suspension damping on the fly.
