Miles Overview
The 2016 MKZ is Lincoln's mid-size sedan, a cushioned alternative to the German and Japanese luxury entries of its day. It's a smooth, quiet cruiser that wafts down the road, though it's not particularly eager when you push it. The cabin looks sharp with its push-button gear selector, but some plastics feel less premium than the price suggests. Back-seat headroom is tight for taller passengers, and the trunk is a bit small for the class. Its 2.0L I4 hybrid makes 188 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission driving the front wheels, earning 40 mpg combined. There's no all-wheel drive on the hybrid, so expect sure-footed front traction in dry weather and some wheel spin in the wet.
