Miles Overview
The 2013 MKZ is Lincoln's mid-size luxury sedan, a more upscale take on the Ford Fusion that competes with the Acura TLX and Buick LaCrosse. It rides smoothly and quietly, with a calm demeanor that feels like a much pricier car, though it's not especially sporty. The cabin is stylish but uses some hard plastics, and rear headroom is tight for taller passengers. Some owners report minor issues like seat motors failing, a popping door handle, and water leaking into the trunk. The base MKZ skips the all-wheel drive of the upper trims, saving you money while keeping the same smooth ride and upscale cabin. Its 3.7L V6 makes 300 horsepower, routed through a six-speed automatic to the front wheels, which is plenty for relaxed daily driving. Fuel economy is a strong point here, with the EPA rating it at 26 mpg combined.
