Miles Overview
The Forte is Kia's compact sedan, the one that goes up against the Corolla and Civic with a lower price and a longer warranty. It's a pleasant commuter that handles tidy corners with confidence, though it's not going to light your hair on fire. The cabin is roomier than you'd expect from a compact, with a huge trunk and rear seats that fold down for extra cargo. Standard tech includes a touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a suite of driver aids like forward collision warning. Its 2.0L I4 pairs with a continuously variable transmission that helps it return 34 mpg combined, and Drive Mode Select lets you sharpen the throttle response in Sport.
