Miles Overview
The 2018 Accent is Hyundai's entry-level subcompact sedan, a car aimed squarely at buyers who want something simple, efficient, and affordable. Around town the Accent feels zippy and easy to maneuver, though its highway merging requires a bit of planning. The interior is thoughtfully laid out, with generous headroom and a spacious trunk that surprised even owners of earlier model years. Maintenance is simple and affordable, and the long warranty gives buyers one less thing to worry about. Leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a 7-inch touchscreen set the Limited apart from the SE and SEL trims below it. The 1.6L I4 makes 130 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, returning 32 mpg combined in everyday driving.
