Miles Overview
The Accent is Hyundai's smallest sedan, a subcompact that competes with the likes of the Nissan Versa and Kia Rio. It's nimble and responsive around town, though the engine works hard on the highway and needs planning for quick passes. The cabin feels surprisingly roomy for the class, with comfortable front seats and a trunk that swallows tote boxes easily. Owners note the USB port can be finicky for charging, and the climate control isn't the strongest in extreme heat. The SE adds power windows and door locks, cruise control, and a 5-inch touchscreen over the base SE, while skipping the SEL's alloy wheels and upgraded audio. The SE comes standard with a 6-speed manual; the optional automatic trades a bit of control for easier daily driving.
