The 2026 Optiq is Cadillac's compact electric SUV, slotting below the Lyriq as the entry point into the brand's EV lineup. It goes up against the Tesla Model Y, Audi Q4 e-tron, and Volvo EX40 in the crowded luxury compact EV segment. The Optiq delivers smooth, immediate acceleration typical of EVs, and its low center of gravity keeps body roll in check through corners. Inside, the cabin features a curved display panel and upscale materials, with seating for five and a practical cargo area. Standard tech includes a large touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a full suite of driver-assistance features. Dark Android 20-inch wheels and a gloss-black grille with an illuminated crest set the Sport apart from the Luxury trim below it. Its single electric motor makes 315 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels, good for an EPA-estimated 317 miles of range. Standard Super Cruise hands-free driving and a 19-speaker AKG audio system come on every Sport, so you don't have to option them up.
