The 2023 Sierra 1500 is GMC's full-size pickup, slotting above the Chevrolet Silverado with upscale Denali trims and a premium interior. The Sierra rides with a solid, planted feel, and the available adaptive suspension smooths out rough pavement while keeping body motions in check. Inside, the cabin offers generous space and high-quality materials, especially in Denali trims, with a large touchscreen and available head-up display. Reliability is generally average for the class, and the Sierra holds its value well, though some earlier models had transmission complaints. The SLT sits one step up from the Elevation and gives you leather seating, a larger touchscreen, and more chrome trim without jumping to the Denali's luxury.
