2019 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT

The 2019 Sierra 1500 is GMC's full-size pickup, offered in trims from the work-ready SLE to the luxurious Denali. It competes with the Ford F-150, Ram 1500, and Toyota Tundra, and aims to blend capability with upscale appointments. The Sierra drives with a composed, planted feel on the highway, and its steering is accurate for a truck its size. Inside, the cabin offers generous space and available premium materials, especially in the Denali with its upscale touches. Standard tech includes a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus available driver-assistance features. Moving up to the SLT from the SLE brings standard leather seating, heated front seats, and power-folding mirrors with memory. Its 5.3L I8 makes 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, returning 17 mpg combined. The SLT rides on 18-inch machined aluminum wheels and includes a heavy-duty locking rear differential as standard.
