2019 Chevrolet Blazer Premier

The Blazer is Chevrolet's mid-size SUV, slotted between the Equinox and Traverse in size and price. It drives with a sporty feel that's rare among family SUVs, with responsive steering and a firm, controlled ride. The cabin is stylish and comfortable for long trips, though the cargo area is on the small side for the class. Owners report that maintenance costs stay reasonable, but some note frequent visits to the shop for minor issues. Heated leather seats and the larger touchscreen set the Premier apart from the RS, which focuses more on sporty styling. The 3.6L V6 makes 308 horsepower and pairs with a nine-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, giving it plenty of punch for merging and passing. Expect a firm, controlled ride that keeps body roll in check, a trade-off for the Blazer's sporty handling.
