Miles Overview
The HHR is Chevrolet's retro-styled compact wagon, a practical hatchback that blends vintage looks with everyday utility. It's easy to drive and maneuver, though the base engine feels a bit sluggish on the highway. Fold the rear seats flat and you get a surprisingly large cargo area, enough for an 8-foot Christmas tree. Some owners mention small windows that make seeing stoplights a bit of a chore. With the five-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, the SS feels genuinely quick off the line, though you'll pay at the pump: 22 mpg combined.
