Miles Overview
The El Camino is a car-based pickup, blending a comfortable coupe cabin with a 6.5-foot steel bed for hauling plywood or a weekend's worth of gear. It rides like a car, not a truck, with a soft suspension that soaks up bumps and makes daily driving easy. The interior is basic but functional, with a bench seat, rubber floor mats, and simple controls that are easy to use. The SS is the performance version of the El Camino, with a sport-tuned suspension and a hood scoop that set it apart from the base model. Its 5.0L V8 sends power to the rear wheels, giving it a strong pull off the line and a throaty exhaust note.
