Miles Overview
The 2012 Fusion is Ford's mid-size sedan, a family car that also offers a bit of sporty flair. It's praised for a smooth ride and quick responses to the gas and brake, making it easy to live with every day. The cabin is roomy, with a back seat and trunk that fit tall passengers and gear without complaint. Some owners mention the transmission can hesitate when choosing a gear, and a few recall notices have been issued. The Sport sits above the SE and SEL trims, bringing a 3.5L V6 and firmer suspension for a more engaging drive than the standard Fusion. Its 3.5L V6 makes 263 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, giving you strong highway passing power and a throaty exhaust note. Expect fuel economy around 21 mpg combined, which is the trade-off for that V6 punch over the four-cylinder SE and SEL.
