Miles Overview
The 2019 Fusion is a midsize sedan that competes with the Camry, Accord, and Altima, offering a mix of comfort and style. The Fusion drives with a composed, planted feel, and the steering is responsive enough to make daily commutes engaging. Ride comfort is a strong point, with a smooth highway demeanor that soaks up bumps without feeling floaty. Inside, the cabin offers generous front and rear legroom, and the trunk is notably large for the class. Available Sync 3 brings Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while Co-Pilot360 adds automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assist. Stepping up to the Sport gets you the most powerful Fusion, with a 2.7L V6 and all-wheel drive that separate it from the standard four-cylinder and hybrid models. That 2.7L V6 makes 325 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic to all four wheels, so it pulls hard from a stop and feels genuinely quick. The trade-off for that performance is fuel economy: expect 20 mpg combined in mixed driving, which is noticeably thirstier than the other Fusions.
