Miles Overview
The Ram 3500 is Dodge's heavy-duty pickup, the one you buy when you need to haul or tow serious weight on a daily basis. It drives like the big truck it is, with a commanding view and a ride that's firm when empty but settles down with a load in the bed. The cabin is straightforward and work-ready, with a high seating position and controls that are easy to reach, though the materials are plain. You can get it as a regular, extended, or crew cab, and the bed is sized to handle real work, with a strong tow rating to match. The Laramie is the top-trim Ram 3500, so you get more chrome and interior upgrades over the ST and SLT, but you pay for it. Its 5.9L I6 makes 325 horsepower and 610 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, so it pulls heavy trailers without breaking a sweat.
