Miles Overview
The 2003 Ram 3500 is Dodge's heavy-duty pickup, the one you'd pick when you need to haul or tow seriously heavy loads. It drives like a big truck, with a commanding view over traffic and a ride that's firm when empty but settles down with weight in the bed. The cabin is straightforward and built to work, with plenty of room up front and controls that are easy to reach. You can get it as a regular cab, extended cab, or crew cab, and the bed sizes vary, so you can match it to your hauling needs. The Laramie is the top trim, so you get more comfort features than the base work truck, but you're still getting the same heavy-duty capability underneath. Under the hood is the workhorse 5.9L I6, a torquey inline-six that pairs with four-wheel drive to pull trailers and haul heavy loads without complaint. The Laramie adds nicer upholstery and extra interior trim, so you get a more comfortable place to spend long days on the road or job site.
