Miles Overview
The Ram 3500 is Dodge's heavy-duty pickup, the one you pick when you're hauling serious loads or towing a big trailer. It drives like the big truck it is, with a firm ride and a steering feel that's direct but not light, which is what you expect from a workhorse. Inside, the cabin is straightforward and roomy, with a tall seating position and controls that are easy to reach, though the materials are basic. You get a real truck bed and a strong frame, so it's built for work, and the crew cab offers plenty of space for passengers when you need it. Stepping up to the Laramie from the base SLT gets you upgraded cloth upholstery, a nicer stereo, and more chrome trim. The 5.9L I6 pulls hard from low rpm, and with four-wheel drive you get confident traction on rough job sites or snowy roads.
