Miles Overview
The 2005 Ram 1500 is Dodge's full-size pickup, the one that competes with the Ford F-150 and Chevy Silverado. It rides on a proper truck frame, so you get a solid, planted feel whether you're hauling or just commuting. The cabin is roomy and straightforward, with a big bench or buckets up front and a back seat that fits adults. You can get it as a regular, extended, or crew cab, and the bed is genuinely useful for work or play. Stepping up from the SLT to the SRT-10 swaps the V8 for a Viper-derived V10, making this the most powerful Ram of the year. The 8.3L V10 pairs with a manual transmission and rear-wheel drive, giving you brutal acceleration and a soundtrack that turns heads.
