Miles Overview
The HR-V is Honda's smallest SUV, slotting below the CR-V and offering subcompact practicality with a more affordable price. It competes with the Toyota Corolla Cross, Nissan Kicks, and Kia Seltos in the crowded subcompact crossover segment. The HR-V handles with light, accurate steering and a composed ride, though the engine needs revs to keep up with highway traffic. The cabin is roomy for its class, and the rear Magic Seat folds flat to open up a surprisingly versatile cargo area. Honda Sensing comes standard, bundling adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking. If you want a subcompact crossover that looks the part without spending more than necessary, the Sport trims the chrome and adds 18-inch gloss black wheels and orange stitching for a sharper look than the LX. With all-wheel drive and a 3-mode drive system that includes a Snow setting, this Sport can handle light snow or gravel without much drama.
