Miles Overview
The HR-V is Honda's smallest SUV, a subcompact that fits neatly between the Fit and the CR-V in size and price. Around town it feels light and nimble, though the engine needs revs to get going and gets vocal when you push it. The cabin is roomier than the exterior suggests, with a clever rear seat that folds flat to swallow tall cargo. Owners report few major issues, though a few have noted door weather stripping that can come loose over time. The EX adds a moonroof, keyless entry with push-button start, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto over the Sport. Its 1.8L I4 makes 141 horsepower and works through a automatic transmission, returning 30 mpg combined in mixed driving. Only the EX offers Honda LaneWatch, a camera that shows the passenger-side blind spot on the screen when you signal right.
