Miles Overview
The HR-V is Honda's smallest SUV, a subcompact that's easy to park in the city but still seats five. It's not quick, but the HR-V handles nimbly and rides smoothly, making it a pleasant commuter. Inside, the HR-V feels surprisingly roomy, with a clever rear seat that folds flat or flips up for tall cargo. Some owners note the ride gets choppy on rough roads, and the infotainment lacks Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The EX is the mid-level HR-V, adding a sunroof and a 7-inch touchscreen that the base LX doesn't have. It uses the same 1.8L I4 making 141 horsepower as every HR-V, paired with a CVT that keeps the engine in its sweet spot for 31 mpg combined. This one is front-wheel drive, so it's lighter and more efficient than the all-wheel-drive EX, and you'll feel it in the sharper steering response.
