Miles Overview
The ProMaster is Ram's full-size van, built for cargo hauling and work duty, competing with the Ford Transit and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. It drives with a car-like feel for such a big van, and the front-wheel-drive layout keeps the load floor low for easier loading. The ride is firm when empty, which is the trade-off for the payload capacity it carries when loaded. The tall roof versions let you stand up inside, and the rear doors swing wide for easy access with a forklift. The tallest roof option sets the High Roof apart from the Low Roof, letting you stand upright in the cargo area. A 3.6L I6 paired with the automatic transmission drives the front-wheel drive, which keeps the load floor low and improves traction when the van is loaded. The High Roof's extra interior height is the main reason to pick it over the Low Roof, and it still fits through a standard 12-foot garage door.
