Miles Overview
The Ram 3500 is a heavy-duty pickup built for serious towing and payload work, slotting above the 1500 in the lineup. It goes head-to-head with the Ford F-350 and Chevrolet Silverado 3500 in the crowded heavy-duty segment. The steering is direct and the brakes feel strong, even when you're hauling a heavy trailer. The cabin is roomy and well-built, with available leather and a large touchscreen that make long hauls more pleasant. The Tradesman is the work-focused trim, so you get vinyl floors and a simpler interior rather than leather and wood, but the same stout chassis and tow capacity as the pricier trims. This one has the 6.7L I6 making 360 horsepower, paired with a eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, which is plenty for heavy hauling but won't win any drag races.
